How do I Connect to Seahawk Guest (seahawkguest)?

All visitors and guests of UNCW may connect to Seahawk Guest.

*Please note: ​​​​​​"​Seahawkguest" is a wireless network for guests and visitors to access the Internet. This network has limited access to campus resources. Students, faculty and staff should use the "hawkwifi" network not "Seahawkguest."

Visitors can access the "Seahawkguest" wireless network by simply selecting the network on their devices.

During the start of school, the "Seahawkguest" network may not be visible in your "available networks".However, you can still connect to it manually. Instructions are as follows:

  1. Click the wireless Network icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  2. Select  "Open Network and Sharing Center." 

    Select to open Network and Sharing Center 
     
  3. Select "Set up a new connection or network."

  4.   Choose the setting as shown below. 

    network name: seahawkguest
     
  5. Once you have completed the setup for the SeahawkGuest network your device will be connected.
