How do I fix Performance Issues with Outlook?

Answer

All faculty, staff and students have the ability to fix Outlook performance issues.

Cached Exchange Mode is an optional setting in Microsoft Outlook, turned off by default. This setting allows you to choose how many weeks/months/years of email you wish to download to your computer. We recommend turning this setting on if your Outlook program begins to respond more slowly over time.

Please visit Microsoft Support for Turning Cached Exchange Mode on or off.
