How do I Add my Email to my Blackberry Phone?

Answer

All faculty, staff and students have the ability add their email to their Blackberry phone.

  1. Select "Settings" from the main menu.
     
  2. Tap "Accounts" from the "system settings" menu.
     
  3. Click "Advanced" at the bottom of the "add account" screen.
     
  4. On the "Advanced Setup" screen, choose "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync".
     
  1. Enter your account information.
    • Username: your UNCW email username (without the @uncw.edu).

    • Email Address: Full UNCW email address.

    • Password: Your domain email password.

    • Server Address: "outlook.office365.com".

    • Domain: leave this blank.

    • Push: Turn this on for Always on capability.

    • Sync Timeframe: Set this to 7 days.
       

  2. Turn on sync for email, contacts, calendar, tasks and memos. It may take a few minutes to fully sync all your messages to your inbox. Click "Done" to complete the setup.
