How do I set up my Internet Explorer for Sharepoint and SSRS Web 2008 usage?
Answer
All faculty and staff have the ability to utilize SharePoint and SSRS Web 2008 through Internet Explorer.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click on "Tools," and then select "Internet Options" from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the "Security" tab, ensure that "Trusted sites" is highlighted, and then click the "Sites" button.
- Add "https://*.uncw.edu" and "http://*.uncw.edu" to the list. Ensure that the "Require server verification..." checkbox is unchecked.
- Close the "Trusted Sites" window.
- Click "Custom Level" under "Security level for this zone."

- Press the "M" key to jump down to "Miscellaneous." Make sure the "Access data sources across domains" option is set to "Enable."

- Scroll to the very bottom. Under the "User Authentication" section, ensure that "Automatic logon with current username and passoword" is selected.

- Click "OK" to close, and you're done!
