How do I reserve an area in Tech Nest?

Answer

All faculty, staff and students have the ability to reserve areas in Tech Nest.


If you are creating a new reservation:

 

  1. Visit the Tech Nest reservation page here.
     
  2. Select a date and time.
     
  3. Enter your name, email and comments.
     
  4. Select which area of the Tech Nest you want to reserve.
     
  5. Click "Book."
     
  6. You should receive a confirmation email to the address entered in step 3.

*Please note: Tech Nest is reserved for student-use only, Monday-Thursday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are made in 1-hour increments. Longer segments must be made using consecutive reservations. You must provide your own headphones. 


 

If you are editing a current reservation:
 

  1. Open your confirmation email.
     

  2. Select "Manage Booking" at the bottom of the email.
     

  3. You should have the option to reschedule, cancel or add a new reservation.

 

If you are adding a reservation to your Outlook calendar:
 

  1. Open your confirmation email.
     
  2. Double-click "booking.ics."
     
  3. Select "Yes" from the pop-up window.
     
  4. Click "Accept" on the top of the screen.
