How do I get access to UNCW's Canva Team?

Answer

All faculty and staff have the ability to utilize Canva for business operations. 
 

Requestors should follow these steps to input a requisition.
 

1. Create a new uShop cart as a "Non-Catalog Item."


2. Enter "CANVA US, INC" into the existing supplier field.


3. Enter "New Canva Teams Annual License" into the product description field.
    
4. Enter "N/A" into the catalog no field.
    
5. In the "Quantity" field, enter the number of licenses being purchased for the department. A license must be purchased for each individual who intends to access Canva Teams.
    
6. In the "Price Estimate" field, a license for a (12) month period is approximately $100.00. Depending on the timing of the requisition in relation to Canva's quarterly billing practices, the cost may be less when the purchase order is completed.
    
7. In the "Address Field" enter "Service Only".
    
8. Code the purchase as a Software Subscription.
   
   Once the requisition has been fully processed and approved, Purchasing and/or ITS will notify Student Affairs Communications and Marketing of the campus department, primary contact name/email address, and the approved license(s) for that department. Student Affairs Communications and Marketing will be the primary contact for the remainder of the process, which includes onboarding departments, assigning licenses, and building out their Canva workspace.  
    

   *Please note: The annual campus renewal process for Canva Design begins in October of each calendar year. Campus departments newly requesting licenses will be included in the annual campus renewal, allowing their license timeframe to begin on January 31 of the upcoming calendar year. Campus departments that request outside of the annual campus renewal timeline should complete the procedures listed above.
