How do I Upload a Photo for my UNCW One Card?

Question

How do I upload a photo to use on my UNCW One Card?

Answer

All students have the ability to upload a photo for their One Card.

*Please note:  The deadline for photo submission is 5 days prior to Freshmen/Transfer Orientation Session, but you can do this on the day of Orientation. Additionally, you can go to the One Card office in Warwick Center to take a photo and get an ID printed out. The photo size is very small (4 MB) in order to upload an image. If the photo is too large, you will receive an error message to try again.

The photo upload website does not support the default iPhone and iPad .HEIC image file format due to web incompatibility issues. Before uploading your photo, please convert it to a .JPEG using a photo conversion website.

Alternatively, you can retake your photo in a .JPEG image file format after adjusting compatibility settings:

Settings > Camera > Formats > Most Compatible.

  1. Log in to mySeaport.

  2. Hover the mouse over "Students" on the top navigation bar.

  3. Click "New & Transfer Students."

The mySeaport link to "New and Student Transfers."

  4. Scroll down to the "Getting Started" section.

  5. Click "Upload One Card Photo."
