Technical Assistance with Canvas


Why request this service?

General issues/errors that faculty, staff or students encountered while using Canvas. Users should first seek help from Canvas support by clicking on the question mark icon at the bottom of the left-hand navigation pane in their course. Canvas support options include:

  • Live chat with a Canvas technician
  • Phone support
  • Ability to submit an electronic ticket
  • Access to Canvas instructional guides

Examples of when you might submit a Technical Assistance support request include, but are not limited to:

Students: 

  • Unable to access assigned quiz, discussion or exam.
  • Unable to access a required file or page.

Faculty/Staff:

  • Course copy issues or errors
  • Login issues
  • Course merge issues
