How do I access the Cybersecurity Awareness Training?

Answer

Faculty and staff have the ability to access the security awareness training online through Office 365 or UNCW's Onboarding website.

Security Awareness Training & Office 365
 

1. Log in to Office 365 using your UNCW email and password. 


2. Click on the "App Launcher" icon located in the top left corner of the page.
   
    


3. Select "All apps" from the bottom of the list.
   
   
    
4. You can scroll down until you see "Seahawk Secure," or you can search for "Seahawk Secure."
    
5. Select "Seahawk Secure" from the menu, and it should automatically log in to the KnowBe4 training platform. 

Security Awareness Training from the Onboarding Site

1. Navigate to UNCW's Onboarding IT/Cyber Security Training.
    
2. Scroll to the "How to Complete the Training Programs" section, and select "IT Security Training on KnowBe4" button to access the KnowBe4 training platform.
                  
3. Enter your UNCW email address, and click “next” to continue. 
   
   
    
4. Your available courses will be displayed on the following page. Click the “Start” button to begin the desired course.
