All faculty, staff and students have the ability to use and access Apporto to access the UNCW virtual desktop environment.
 

Accessing Apporto
 

Direct URL
 

  1. You can access Apporto directly by visiting: https://uncw.apporto.com/


Access Apporto in mySeaport
 

  1. Visit mySeaport
     
  2. Look for Apporto in the “Apps” section on the home screen.


Logging into Apporto

 

  1. After accessing Apporto, click the "Log In" button.

    The log in button is below the prompt click "log in" below.
     
  2. If not already logged in, you will be redirected to a UNCW login page.  
     
  3. Please log in to your UNCW account and authenticate using your preferred option. 


Accessing Apps & Software

 

  1. Once logged into Apporto, click the "Launch" button from the "UNCW Desktop" option. 

    TECH TIP: The "App Store" is an Apporto dashboard where all the UNCW applications and software are stored.

  2. The UNCW Desktop will load in a new tab.
     
  3. Select the "Start" button from the taskbar and search for the app you want to launch.

Accessing Your UNCW OneDrive

 

*Please note: To use your UNCW OneDrive in Apporto, please follow the How Do I Mount a Cloud Storage Drive in Apporto?  instructions. You only need to do this once. After that, your files will be accessible every time you log in.

After Hours Support for Time-Sensitive Technical Issues

*Please note: If you have an urgent issue outside of regular business or TAC support hours, you can submit a request directly to Apporto for help.

  1. From the Apporto dashboard, click "Help" in the top-right corner. 
     
  2. A menu will appear.

    the help button, located in the top right-hand corner, shows a menu of about, mytac, user guide and support request.
     
  3. Choose "Support Request" at the bottom of the list.
     
  4. This will open the Apporto support page, where you can submit your request.
