All Faculty, Staff and Students are licensed to use this Read&Write literacy software.
UNCW-Owned Windows PC:
- Read&Write literacy software is available for installation via Software Center.
- If you need further instructions on how to use Software Center, please read the "How do I Use Software Center (PC) and Self Service (Mac) on my UNCW-owned machine?" knowledge base article.
Personally-Owned Windows PC:
*Please note: To install Read&Write, you need to have administrative rights to your personal machine.
- Click here to begin an automatic download of Read&Write literacy software.
- Once downloaded, navigate to your device's download location and run the application (read&write.exe).
- Review the End User License Agreement (EULA) and install by clicking the "Accept and Install" button.
- Once installation is completed, launch program from desktop icon.
- The application toolbar will open. Click anywhere to sign-in.
- Select "Sign in with Microsoft."
- Enter your UNCW email address: <username>@uncw.edu
- Select "Work or school account." Enter your UNCW password and choose whether or not to stay signed in.
- Installation and activation are now complete.
