All faculty, staff, and students have the ability to request a Knowledge Article be created, updated, or retired.
 

How do I request a Knowledge Article to be created?

 

  1. To request a new Knowledge Article, submit a service request and select "Knowledge Base Requests" and then "Create KB Article." The request will be reviewed by the Knowledge Managers for review.

  2. If you would like to be granted permissions as a Knowledge Owner to create knowledge articles, submit a service request. Select "Knowledge Base Requests and then "Add/Modify Knowledge Article Owner." One of the Knowledge Base Managers will ensure that the permissions are configured and provide training.


How do I request a Knowledge Article be updated or retired?

 

  1. Submit "Feedback" on the Knowledge Article
    1. Find the Knowledge Article
    2. Scroll to the bottom of the Knowledge Article.
    3. Locate the "Was this helpful?" and click "No."
    4. Enter detailed comments describing what content needs to be updated or why the article should be retired.
    5. The Knowledge Owner will be notified of your feedback and can review the requested change.
       
  2. Alternatively, a service request. Select "Knowledge Base Requests" and then "Edit or Retire KB Article." The service request will be assigned to the appropriate Knowledge Owner for review.
