How do I Sync my password after changing it while still logged into my UNCW-owned Mac?

1. You will see the notification below once your computer checks in after changing your UNCW account password. Select "Sync" or click on the notification.
   
   
    
2. Log in with your UNCW email and new password.
   
   
    
3. You will be prompted by a pop-up that says, "Your Mac and email passwords do not match." This is asking for the password you used to log in to the computer.
   
   
    
4. Once you enter your old password, JAMF Connect will update your login and FileVault passwords to your new password.

How do I Sync my password from the login screen on a UNCW-owned Mac?
 

1. Click the WiFi icon in the top-right corner and make sure you are connected to seahawkguest if you are on campus, or to your home WiFi.
   
   
    
2. Login to your UNCW account with your new password.
   
   
    
3. You will see the prompt below that "Your Azure_v2 password does not match your local account password." This is where you will enter the previous password you were using to sign in before changing it.
   
   
    
4. After entering your old password, your password should sync to your new one on subsequent logins.
