Answer
Some faculty and staff have the ability to change their password using JAMF Connect on a UNCW-owned Mac.
*Please note: JAMF Connect is an application that syncs UNCW account password changes on macOS devices. Only select Macs have this service installed, with plans for campus-wide implementation coming soon.
ITS manages the installation of this service. While running, a JAMF Connect icon will appear in the taskbar near the clock at the top of the screen.
- To change your password, open JAMF Connect from the menu bar in the top right corner of the screen. If you do not see the JAMF Connect icon, go into Applications and open "JAMF Connect".
- Select "Change Password".

- Once you select "Change Password" you may be prompted to enter your UNCW credentials to sign in.
- After entering your current credentials, you will be prompted to enter a new password.
