How Long after Graduation will my Email Remain Active?


All students inactive with UNCW will have their email accounts deactivated.

  1. Your email account will remain active until the drop/add period of the following semester, excluding summer semesters.
  2. Therefore, if you graduate in December, your email account will be deactivated at some point after the Spring drop/add period. If you graduate in May, your email account will become deactivated at some point after the Fall drop/add period. Students will receive an email notification prior to their account being disabled.
  3. It is recommended that you change to a personal email for communications with potential employers, graduate schools and other services that may still have your student email for contact purposes.
