Answer

All faculty, staff and students can use the ID Retrieval Tool.

1. Go to UNCW ID Retrieval Tool.
    
2. You will be instructed to enter your First and Last name, Birthday, and last four digits of your SSN.
    
3. Enter them, and click "Submit."
    
4. Once you click "Submit" you will be given two options to retrieve your UNCW information: "Display" and "Email."
    

• Choosing "Display" will open a window displaying your username, ID and PIN.
   
• The "Email" option will send this information to your email address.

If you receive the following error at the retrieval page:
 

Please do the following:
 

• Be sure there are no extra spaces in your information and that you are using your full legal name.
   
• Try with a different Web browser.
   
• If you are a newly admitted student you will need to contact the Admissions Office at (910) 962-3243.
   
• If you are a current student you will need to contact the Registrar's Office at (910) 962-3125. You may not have a social security number on file.
