Why request this service?

This service should be used to request a new distribution list or security group, or to make modifications to existing lists or groups.

Distribution lists are limited to @uncw.edu email addresses, specific to one area or purpose, and the membership is maintained via a ticket. A distribution list will have a @uncw.edu address.
