*Please note: In order to determine the correct license file you must know the following three things:
- Your SAS version.
- Your Operating System.
- Your site number.
- Open SAS and go to the top of the Log window to find the information listed above.

- Open File explorer - enter \\seashare\sas\ and then browse to the current year

2. Select the file with the matching version, site number & platform and save it to your computer.

3. Download the license file (saving on your desktop makes it easy to find).
- From the start menu follow the path:
- All programs ->
- SAS ->
- Renew SAS software
- browse to the license file you saved.
- If you get an error message, double check the three numbers in the first box, with the file you downloaded.
