Find your Data Port
There are Ethernet ports mounted on the wall of nearly every room on campus. Review the image below.
Find your Data Port Number
*Please note: ITS may request a data port number to complete a service request or for troubleshooting. If your data port does not have a number and you need to provide it for a service request, please provide the room number and a description of the location of the port.
Your data port number can be found on the Ethernet ports on your wall. Look for the letter "D." In the examples below, they are circled in red:

Each room in the P3 dorms has an access point mounted on the wall that provides Ethernet ports and wireless access. The bottom of the access point looks like this:

Port Descriptions
- Pass-Thru - Do not use this port.
- LAN3 - Active Ethernet port.
- LAN2 - Active Ethernet port.
- PSE-LAN1 - Active Ethernet port that provides Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power devices.
