All faculty and staff can configure Call Forwarding on their phone.
*Please note: Everyone can call forward calls to off-campus numbers and cell phones. Call forwarding can be configured from the office phone or the Phone Self-Care Portal. You must dial 9 and then the 10-digit number when entering the number (E.g., 99105551212).
How do I configure Call Forwarding from the phone in my office?
- Press the "Forward All" key on the phone.
- Dial the number you want to forward your calls to or press the message button to forward calls to your voicemail.
- To stop call forwarding, press "Forward Off."
How do I configure Call Forwarding using the Self Care portal?
*Please note: You will first need to connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) if you are off-campus.
Everyone can call forward calls to off-campus numbers and cell phones. This can be configured from the office phone or the Phone Self-Care Portal. You must dial 9 and then the 10-digit number when entering the number (E.g., 99105551212).
- Visit the Self Care Portal: Phone Self-Care Portal.
- Click on the "Phones" Tab.
- In the left navigation pane, click "Call Forwarding."
- Click the phone number on which you want to set up call forwarding.
- Click the "Forward all Calls To" box.
- Select "Voicemail" from the drop-down list, or select "Add a New Number" to enter an alternate number. When entering a new number, remember to enter the number exactly how you would dial it from your desk phone.
- Click "Save."
