Why request this service?
After purchasing a Grammarly Pro/Premium license, submit this request to allow ITS to add access to the software for your UNCW user account.
Prerequisites
- UNCW faculty and staff have two options for obtaining Grammarly licenses.
- If purchasing less than 10 licenses, users need to sign up for free Grammarly accounts at Grammarly.com using their UNCW email address and then, from within that account, upgrade to a pro/premium license. In this case, use the department P-Card, and enter a $0 requisition into uShop as per the usual process. Once purchased, submit this request for ITS to enable the license.
- If the department is purchasing 10 or more licenses, contact the UNCW vendor representative Anna Leporte
- Students must purchase Grammarly with their own funds by visiting Grammarly.com to purchase directly from the vendor.

Are there any fees or additional costs?
The only cost is the license purchase. There is no fee for configuring Grammarly for the UNCW user account.
