How do I Connect to Seahawk Guest (seahawkguest)?

Answer

All visitors and guests of UNCW may connect to Seahawk Guest.

*Please note: ​​​​​​"​Seahawkguest" is a wireless network for guests and visitors to access the Internet. This network has limited access to campus resources. Students, faculty and staff should use the "hawkwifi" network not "Seahawkguest."

For security reasons, the "Seahawkguest" network may not be visible in your "available networks" during the start of school in August. However, you can still connect to it manually.

  1. Click the wireless Network icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.

  2. Select to "Open Network and Sharing Center."

  3. Select "Set up a new connection or network."

  4. Add in the settings provided in the below image. 

    network name: seahawkguest
     
  5. Once you have completed the setup for the SeahawkGuest network your device will be connected.
