How do I use the Duo Text Passcode Authentication Method?

All faculty, staff and students have the ability to use the Duo Text passcode Authentication Method.

"Text New Codes" Duo Feature
 

1. If this is your first time accessing UNCW applications, such as Office 365, Duo will use the most secure method you have available to you ( e.g.Push) and will automatically send a Duo Push to your device. To switch to Duo text passcode, click "Other Options."
   
   
    
2. Next, choose "Text message passcode." 
   
   
    
3. Duo will send a passcode to your phone and you will enter it in the passcode box, then select "verify." 
   
   


4. Success! You should now be logged in.
