How do I use Duo Push with the Duo Mobile App when logging into my UNCW Account?

All faculty, staff and students have the ability to use Duo Verified Push with the Duo Mobile app when logging into their UNCW account.
 

  1. If this is your first time accessing UNCW applications, such as Office 365, Duo will use the most secure method you have available to you (e.g. Duo Verified Push) and will automatically send a Duo Push to your device (if you use Duo Push). Duo will automatically remember the last method you used (e.g. YubiKey, Duo Verified Push, TOTP, etc.) and will display that option by default. With Duo Push, a six-digit code will displayed on the application your logging into, simply enter that code into your Duo authentication device once prompted.

  1. Once you select the notification on your authentication device (phone), if Duo Push was not your last used authentication method, click "Other options."

  2. In the Other options menu, select the "Duo Push" option for the device you wish to use.

  3. On your device, open the Duo Mobile app, and, if you are positive that the "Login Request" was submitted by you, enter in the six digit code and select "Approve."  If you did not submit the Login Request, please select "I'm not logging in." 


     
  4. After approving the request you should be successfully logged in to the UNCW Application.
