How Do I Set Up And Access Creative Cloud?

Before Installation

All Creative Cloud desktop apps have a minimum operating system requirement of Mac OSX 10.9 and Windows 7 64-bit, or later.  For the complete system requirements for your Creative Cloud apps, be sure to click on the link and then scroll down to the Desktop applications. 

It is very important you check this BEFORE installing the software.  You should also make sure you have enough disk/hard drive space (via the systems requirements link).

 

How to Login

Go to http://adobe.com and click "SIGN IN" in the upper right corner (if you see your name you are already signed in). 

To login, enter your full UNCW email address (including the @uncw.edu) and press enter or tab. 

Select "Enterprise ID", which will redirect to a login page. 

Enter your UNCW email/domain username (without the @uncw.edu) and your UNCW email/domain password and click Login.

 

How to Download and Manage Software

Once you are logged in, you can manage your account one of two ways:

  1. If you see this icon in your status bar at the bottom of your screen (this is your Creative Cloud Desktop Manager), click on it and then select the Apps menu to install and use any apps you want.

     
  2. If you don’t have the Creative Cloud Desktop Manager then look for Desktop Downloads (under Creative Cloud Apps) and click on that:

 

You will see a list of Adobe apps available to you.  If it says Download trial, that’s okay… just click on that button for the app you want.  Once you do, that app will begin to install and the Desktop Manager will install with that.  Then you can manage your apps as outlined in step #1.

Please note that you can install on as many computers as you personally use (please don’t share your username and password with anyone or share the software with them as this is a UNCW policy violation) but you can only be logged into two machines at one time.  The great thing is, you can even install on your home computer if you would like!
