How Do I Set Up and Access Creative Cloud?

Question

How do I set up and access Creative Cloud applications?

Answer

All students and approved faculty/staff members have access to Creative Cloud applications

Before Installation

All Creative Cloud desktop apps have a minimum operating system requirement of Mac OSX 10.9 and Windows 7 64-bit, or later. For the complete system requirements for your Creative Cloud apps, be sure to click on the link and then scroll down to the Desktop applications.

It is very important you check this BEFORE installing the software. You should also make sure you have enough disk/hard drive space (via the systems requirements link).

How to Login

  1. Go to http://adobe.com and click "SIGN IN" in the upper right corner (if you see your name you are already signed in).

  1. To login, enter your full UNCW email address (including the @uncw.edu) and press enter or tab.
  2. Select "Enterprise ID," which will redirect to a login page.
  3. Enter your UNCW email/domain username (without the @uncw.edu) and your UNCW email/domain password, and click Login.

How to Download and Manage Software

  1. Once you are logged in, look for Desktop Downloads (under Creative Cloud Apps) and click on that:

  1. You will see a list of Adobe apps available to you.  The first product you should install is Creative Cloud Desktop Manager (if it says Trial, that's okay, go ahead and install it):

  1. Once you install the Desktop Manager, you will see this icon in the system tray on your computer (top right of the screen on a Mac, lower right on a PC):

This app will help you manage all of your Adobe Creative Cloud applications - just click on the icon to see what apps you have installed, what needs to be updated, install additional apps or log into and out of Adobe Creative Cloud.

Please note that you can install Adobe CC on as many computers as you personally use (please don’t share your username and password with anyone or share the software with them as this is a UNCW policy violation) but you can only be logged into two machines at one time.  You can even install on your home computer if you would like.
