How do I Submit a Ticket or Request using the myTAC portal?

Answer

All faculty, staff, and students can submit tickets.

Available services can be found in the service catalog. Use the catalog to submit a ticket to get help with technical issues, request new access and permissions, or request a change to a current system.
 

  1. Start by navigating to the myTAC home page at www.uncw.edu/tac.

    *Please note: It is recommended that you log in using your UNCW credentials first, as there are some services that will only be visible to you if you are logged in.

  2. There are a few different ways to search the myTAC portal.
    1. You can use the search option at the top of the page. This allows you to search all content, just the knowledge base, or just the service catalog.
    2. You can use the main search option in the center of the page. 
    3. You can search just the Knowledge Base.
    4. You can search just the Service Catalog.
    5. If you only need to reset your UNCW password, you can select this option.
    6. If you know you need to open a ticket to report an issue with your UNCW account, no need to search, simply select this option.

  3. To submit a service request, open the desired service and select "Submit a Ticket:"

  4. Complete the form and select "Request."
