Service Overview
An ITS technician will set up and configure a new computer, or reconnect and reconfigure an existing computer if it has been relocated.

For faculty, staff and student employees with a university owned computer.
Features
The service includes installing UNCW standard software, reconnecting peripherals (e.g. printers) and transferring data. Additional software requests must include a valid proof-of-purchase or license in order for the technician to install the software.
Getting Started
- If this request requires the installation of software that is not included in the UNCW standard software list please document this information in the request form.
- Be sure the computer equipment is in its new location before submitting this request to reconnect the computer.
- Begin to relocate all data files on the computer to OneDrive. Your ITS technician can also assist you with this.
*Please note: If this is a replacement computer and the old computer needs to be retired to Surplus Property, please submit a Computer Surplus request.
