How do I Configure Call Forwarding on my NEW phone?

All faculty and staff can configure Call Forwarding on their phone.

*Please note:  Everyone can call forward calls to off-campus numbers and cell phones. This can be configured from the office phone or from the Phone Self Care Portal.  When entering the number, you must dial 9 then the 10 digit number. Ex: 99105551212

How do I configure Call Forwarding from the NEW phone in my office?

 

  1. Press the "Forward All" key on the phone.

  2. Dial the number you want to forward your calls to or press the message button message button picture to forward calls to your voicemail.

  3. To stop call forwarding, press "Forward Off."


How do I configure Call Forwarding using the Self Care portal?

*Please note: You will first need to connect to VPN if you are off-campus.

  1. Visit the Self Care Portal  Phone Self Care Portal

  2. Click on the "Phones Tab."
     
  3. In the left navigation pane, click "Call Forwarding."
     
  4. Click the phone number on which you want to set up call forwarding.
     
  5. Click the Forward Calls To: check box.

  6. Select Voicemail from the drop-down list or select Add a New Number to enter an alternate number. When entering a new number, remember to enter the number exactly how you would dial it from your desk phone.
     
  7. Click "Save."
